Sapore Vero Hither Green

With a tiny footprint of on 480sqft and a basement with a head height making the space unusable, this project has to be one of the most challenging we've done!

The only way to feasibly accommodate the trading areas and operational spaces such as kitchen and storage was to remove the ground floor and raise it, giving sufficient head height within the basement to allow this area to be used.

Stripping everything back to shell within a building built at the turn of the twentieth century gave the basis for the design style.  Original bare brick, rustic timber cladding to ceilings and old floorboards, along with a few hidden gems allowed us to add the finishing touches.  Spatial planning everything to fit, whilst complying with Building Control was far trickier but was achieved, along with planning approval to change shopfronts to large sliding/folding ones, perfect for the summer months.
