Gastro Pub

Floor Area: 6200sqft | Location: London

Lifeforms were hired to create a concept design for a gastro pub located within a 1970’s office block.

We were briefed on the vision for the space, where we were to retain the pared back concrete structure and add a design style that would be warm and welcoming with a rustic vibe. The unit is large and split with a large central bar that creates zones within the open space (but not a solid barrier). One side was the main ‘pub’ side to the operation, with the other being dining with an open stage kitchen. The pub side has a more traditional style with timber panelled walls offset against the existing concrete structure, whereas, the dining side has a more rustic feel with aged white and blackened timber, offset with a bit of glamour in comfortable banquette and booth seating, artwork and a stunning wine display wall.
