South Street Kitchen

South Street kitchen is an independent cafe located within the Grade II listed Park Hill Flats - a stunning post modern development from the early 1960’s.  

The design was to add to the existing architecture of the building. With the whole structure being concrete, this material was a strong factor for the overall design - to be retained and left exposed as much as possible, including old rusty power and light switch boxes! We added a style that had strong mid century modern and scandi undertones, with simple details and materials such as patterned wall tiles and pale bleached oak.
